Feeding and Swallowing Therapy works to:

-     develop swallowing function in the mouth, the throat, and/or the esophagus that occurs as a result  of dysphasia.

-     correct faulty tongue placement during swallowing, speaking and/or when at rest.

-     overcome a child’s limited diet due to unwillingness/inability to try new foods.

Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) is the use of any communication other than oral speech such as facial expressions, gestures, sign language, writing, picture symbols and voice output devices.

Speech/Language Pathology addresses services in the areas of language, auditory processing, literacy, augmentative and alternative communication, along with speech sound production such as phonological, articulation, and motor speech disorders.

Physical Therapy is targeted at developing, restoring and improving mobility, improving strength and endurance, and facilitating gross motor development.
